Iraq Oil Ministry set to make big announcements at Next Generation Oil and Gas Summit

Assem Jihad, Chief Information Officer, Iraq Oil Ministry, has confirmed that he will be speaking at the illustrious Next Generation Oil and Gas Summit (NGOG Summit) next week at the Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort, Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
 
Assem is set to announce investment opportunities in Iraq for international oil companies in the extractive sector.

In addition Assem will also speak on the establishment of joint companies between the Iraq Oil Ministry and foreigners and the Ministry's plan to raise the rates of production and export future.

Over 50 of the leading O&G institutions including Adnoc, Saudi Aramco, Shell, BP as well as Government officials from around the world have all confirmed attendance to ensure that the program will drive immediate value to Iraq and the world, bringing both jobs and cheaper fuel prices. The main goal is to unite the industry and tackle the current economic climate through technology innovation, stabilizing the industry through creating a more efficient infrastructure within it.

A spokesperson from the NG O&G Summit, said:
'The global Oil and Gas Sector is in the midst of unprecedented transformation. Several factors are driving fundamental change, unity amongst key industry leaders is vital.'
